Our founder, Secondo, knew that Asti was a great garden. He started Sacla’ by trading vegetables bought at low prices when there was a glut in the middle of the season. He would then preserve the vegetables, be it peas, asparagus or beans in jars and then sell them at a premium when the fresh produce was no longer available.
If, like us, you’ve got your own glut of courgettes on your hands, try our recipe for courgette with Pesto – it’ll ring the changes!
