It was way back in the 1700's that the Lazzaroni family started making pastries and biscuits in the Northern Italian town of Saronno. With new recipes for it's biscuits and cakes and by shipping all over the world (which explains the sailing ship depicted on all it's packaging) the business won numerous awards and earned a reputation for great taste and quality.
