Undoubtedly the most popular Italian honey, the Brezzo family have got this one down to a fine art over the last 75 years. The Acacia trees grow wild around their family home in Monteu Roero, and in May, the forests bloom with the fragrant white flowers that their bees simply love. The honey itself is almost transparent, with delicate floral notes and a hint of vanilla. It’s a staple in Italian cooking, great as a natural sweetener and a favourite on hot buttered toast.
